RESORT POLICIES
Quiet Hours
10 PM – 8 AM. Please be respectful of neighbors.
Beach
No lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk.
Guests
If you are expecting guests at any time during your stay, they must register in the office or you can inform of guests at check-in.
Seasonal Lots
Please do not walk through seasonal campers’ lots and yards. Use the road and walking paths instead.
Fishing
Feel free to fish off any of the docks. Please stay out of personal boats and pontoons parked at the docks, including resort rental pontoons (unless rented for the day). Boats and pontoons are personal property.
Beach Parking
No parking at the beach at any time.
Campfires
Campfires must be fully extinguished and never left unattended.
Firewood
Firewood is available on-site — $25 for a large full wagon or $15 for a half wagon. Due to the discovery of Ash Borer in Minnesota, outside firewood is not permitted. Thank you for helping save our trees!
Fish Cleaning
When cleaning fish, please dispose of all fish guts in the buckets provided in the fish-cleaning hut — not in the resort dumpster. This helps prevent flies and unpleasant odors, especially in the summer.
Check-In & Check-Out times
2 PM check-in & 10 AM check-out. Please ensure all office balances and firewood are paid for before departing. The office closes at 10 AM on our big cleaning days — Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays and takes us until 2 PM to finish up. Stop by before then if you need anything — we’re happy to help before cabin flip-overs and grounds maintenance begin!
Smoking Policy
To maintain a clean and comfortable environment for all guests, smoking is strictly prohibited inside cabins. If the cabin smells of smoke upon departure, your security deposit will be retained to cover additional cleaning. Cigarette butts must be placed in the fire pit and cleaned out before check-out.
As a private and family-friendly resort, marijuana or drug use is not allowed on Lake Emily Resort property. Guests who do not comply will be asked to leave without a refund.
